Uzungöl in Winter: Snow, Mist, and the Story of a Warm Cup

In winter Uzungöl becomes another place entirely: pine forests wear snow, mist hangs over the water, and the crowds recede. Snow-covered Uzungöl is arguably even more striking than its summer green — and far calmer.

What to do here in winter? A lakeside walk under snow (the path is flat; careful steps make it a joy), photography (snow + wooden architecture + the mosque is a postcard), highland views (if road conditions allow), and of course a long, warm coffee break.
